  • Patrols – Attendance has been appalling so far. It has been agreed that 16 hours need to be completed before members can compete in the sea or in the pool.

  • IRB arriving within the next few weeks, Jerry cans needed to store petrol. WH and TC will arrange this and also organise other necessary pieces of equipment needed for the upkeep.

  •  Nipper sweatshirts – a spelling mistake has been identified on the back, PC to e-mail club members to make them aware this can be corrected if the sweatshirts are returned to RD by the 22nd August.

  •  The Vale of Glamorgan Mayor is looking for members of the club to attend the Vale of Glamorgan Agricultural Show to raise awareness of the club.

  • Ideas are needed for fund raising, summer ball has already been thought of. Also a wish list needs to be made for the Mayor to spend money on. 1 suggestion is a new 1st aid room floor.

  • Craft – many now are dinged and need fixing before the Welsh Champs on the 16th-17th August.

  • Craft needs to be removed to make room for new boards, suggested giving the old Impacts to Sian to take to Aberdeen Club. Also 1 green ski & the rainbow ski may be removed.

  • Treasurers report was received.

  • Entry forms are now out for the Welsh Champs, closing date for entries is the 14th Aug. Names and details to CJ ASAP.

  • Kracker boards are due in this week. DSV baggage Handlers to pick up the boards & complete paperwork for £200. If the club provides a charity letter then hopefully no duty fee or VAT will need to be paid.

Meeting closed at 2045 hrs.
